This is a renovation project for a sculpture museum competition.
The aim was to integrate the existing building, garden and natural landscape in the project.
This approach corresponds to a “Japanese garden concept” which maximizes the use of existing attractive elements.
Various places were planned for different sculptures, and nature used both outside and inside.
Visitors can select and mix the places by varied circulation routes, creating different experiences.
As a result, this renovation project can also be seen as one land-art work, which can be experienced in the natural environment.
