CONCEPT:
RIKU X TOMO Project brings colorful lights to temporary housing in Rikuzentakata, one of the worst-affected areas by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Temporary housing area gets filled with darkness when night falls. The project is planned to install “Pet Light”, lights made up of solar panels and PET (plastic) bottles, and “Flower light”, customized solar garden lights. By those lights LED systems, any electric cost won’t be necessary resulting in a burden-free project for local residents after the installation.

HOW TO SUPPORT:
You can participate this project by purchasing our “lighting items” which will be used throughout the project. Your purchased light will be delivered directly to the site in Rikuzentakata by our staff. (Please note that the ordered lights won’t be shipped to you.) You can support our project by making a payment through paypal with the minimum amount of 2,000 JPY or more.
